For athletes serious about playing at the next level, the College Pathway Program provides a complete roadmap through the recruiting process. Designed and led by Coach Hylton Dayes — a former Division I head coach and All-American player — this relationship-based service gives players and families the clarity, structure, and support they need to navigate one of the most important journeys in a player’s career.
This program is tailored to each athlete, adjusting to their year in school, skill level, and recruiting stage. With a focus on long-term development and exposure, Coach Dayes mentors players through every step — from building a strong profile to connecting with the right programs and preparing for college soccer.
What’s Included
Initial consultation (Zoom or in-person) with player and family to set goals and gather background information
Ongoing mentorship: bi-weekly to monthly calls at the start, then as needed throughout the process
Education on NCAA recruiting rules and eligibility requirements
Guidance with resume and highlight video to stand out to coaches
Direct communication with college coaches (when appropriate and relevant)
Comprehensive school analysis: evaluating fit, interest, and opportunity
Access to an advisory panel of former college coaches and players for added perspective
Recruiting calendar and timeline to stay organized and on track
Guidance on ID camps and showcases to maximize exposure
College visit checklist and questions to prepare for meetings with coaches
Summer College Transition Training at 50% discount (minimum of 4 sessions) to get players physically and mentally ready for preseason
Post-commitment support: continued consultation up until enrollment to ensure a smooth transition
Specialized consultants available when additional expertise is needed (former college coaches with unique insights)
Program Details
Duration: 6 months (renewable/extended if additional guidance is needed or circumstances occur)
Format: Combination of Zoom, phone, and in-person sessions
Designed for: High school athletes pursuing college soccer opportunities
For players who only need limited guidance, DST also offers a 1-hour recruiting consultation option.
